- IP Address & Connection Details: Your public IP address is used momentarily to request geolocation metadata (approximate city, country, and Internet Service Provider name) to show which server you are testing against. This metadata is parsed in-app and is not stored remotely.
- Local Storage: Speed test results (download, upload, ping, and jitter) are saved exclusively on your device's local database history so you can review your performance records. You can delete individual tests or clear your entire history at any time inside the app.
2. Device Permissions Required
To provide high-precision network analysis on Android, the Application may request standard system permissions:
- Access Network State / Wi-Fi State: Required to detect if you are connected via Cellular Data (5G/4G) or Wi-Fi, which allows the app to configure optimal diagnostic payloads.
- Internet Access: Essential to communicate with the speed test endpoints for testing speeds.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application does not include third-party tracking SDKs, ad networks, or user profiling tools. We run clean, standalone diagnostic utilities to ensure that your private network usage patterns remain completely yours.
4. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since no user data is collected or transmitted by this app, it is 100% compliant with children's privacy regulations worldwide, including COPPA and GDPR.
